Worcester Certified In-Home Care

Aides and nurses who come to the house, so you can stay in it.

A lot of seniors want to stay in their own home as long as possible, and certified in-home care makes that possible. We report on agencies operating in Worcester that provide vetted, background-checked aides for everything from meal prep to medication reminders to full-time companion care. We only highlight providers with real certifications, not fly-by-night operations.

Every number below was read on the organisation's own website on 28 and 30 September 2026. Where one could not be, the listing says so.

Nurses and therapists who come to the house

VNA Care

800-521-5539

A non-profit visiting nurse agency with a Worcester office. Nurses and therapists come to the house, most often after a hospital stay. It also does hospice and palliative care.

67 Millbrook St., 500 North, Worcester, MA 01606

Their website

One number serves every VNA Care office; say which service you want. For paid help with bathing, meals and housework, their private-duty line is 508-366-1766 - usually paid privately or by long-term care insurance, from four hours a day up to live-in.

Their website

Home Instead

A Northborough office sending carers into Worcester homes for company, personal care, dementia care and respite.

386 W. Main St., Suite 14, Northborough, MA 01532

Their website

No number is printed here on purpose: their Worcester page shows a different one each time it is opened, which is a call-tracking system rather than a line of their own. Use the number on their page, or write.

A home care franchise with its own office in Worcester that sends paid caregivers to help older people at home with everyday tasks and company.

405 Grove Street, Suite 303, Worcester, MA 01605

508-713-0585

Home health aides from the Jewish Healthcare Center who help with bathing, dressing, toileting and moving about, plus laundry, shopping, meals, medicine reminders, errands and escorts to appointments. Their website
